The 2004 Eccles steps up its already impressive external specification with an all-new bright glacier white bodyshell with matching front gutter moulding and end caps. A reshaped front panel boasts special shaped windows and a new GRP rear panel offers a sleek, strong finish and modern light clusters. Blue and gold graphics, polished alloy wheels and new styled ABS wheel spats add to the appeal of this stunning exterior.
Safety issues are fully addressed with a spare wheel and tyre tucked away on an underslung wheel carrier, and bulkhead mounted gas regulator as standard. The overall robustness of the caravan is increased with new heavy duty corner steadies and jockey wheel, and an Al-ko Euro overrun device comes with an assisted handbrake.
The Scandinavian-inspired interior shows a level of luxury not usually found in such an affordable range. Flush-fitting framed, screen-printed windows come with stylish concertina blinds and flyscreens, and, together with the multi-positioned mini and large Heki rooflights, flood the caravan with light. Attention to detail is key with finishing touches such as a steel colour electrical control panel over the door with matching sockets and switches.
The light wood colour is set off perfectly by the new rich Messina gold soft furnishings, and the co-ordinating loose fitting carpets can be removed for easy cleaning, or in hot weather, to reveal a stylish wood block effect flooring. Elegantly curved locker doors are finished with deep hardwood edges and incorporate new front corner light mouldings. Beds tops with beech sprung slats have cantilever action to give the dual benefits of easy access to underseat storage and a sound night's sleep, and fixed double beds now have strong aluminium frames.
The 2004 Eccles range also offers a stylish dual fuel hob, and recessed circular stainless steel bowl with pillar tap. This new sink arrangement saves space by incorporating a removable chopping and draining board which can be stored away when not in use, thus freeing up valuable workspace. There is now provision for a microwave (Amber & Diamond). Either a 77 or 86 litre fridge freezer comes as standard.
Centre washrooms have also been completely redesigned and now offer the most spacious and convenient layout yet. The Amethyst, Jewel, Opal and Sapphire boast a new fully-fitted luxury washroom with large sealed circular shower cubicle. This is teamed with stylish, high quality fixtures and fittings such as chrome finish shower equipment, and Thetford electric flush cassette toilet with independent tank. Some models also offer access to handy storage behind the vanity mirror.
